Club Membership

Membership in the Northern California Siberian Husky Club, Inc., is open to anyone over 18-years-of-age who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club, and who subscribe to the purposes of this Club. However, individuals below the minimum age requirement, who have demonstrated an interest in the breed through exhibiting, breeding, and/or racing registered Siberian Huskies, may apply for "Junior Member" status, without the right to vote or hold office.

Membership applications must be made on the approved forms, and require sponsorship of two NCSHC, Inc., members (not from the same household), payment of dues, signing the NCSHC, Inc., Code of Ethics, and attendance at a minimum of 3 NCSHC, Inc., meetings or events within the 18 months prior to applying (one of which must be attendance at a meeting, and one of which must be an event at which the applicant helped).

This requirement for participation enables a prospective member to see what it is like to be a member of the Club, while getting to know other members who can serve as sponsors. And, it gives the Club membership the opportunity of getting to know the individuals upon whose membership applications the members will be voting.

If do not feel you are ready to apply for membership at this time, we welcome you to attend and participate in our meetings and events (which will be published in the Club Calendar on this website) and to subscribe to our Newsletter.

If you are ready to apply, just download the attached application package in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat Reader is necessary to view and print this package, and is available free of charge from Adobe): NCSHC, Inc., Membership Application Package.
